In 2005 Ms. Winter earned a Master’s Degree from Chicago State University in special education. She is a highly qualified teacher with endorsements in both English and Language Arts. Her Bachelor’s Degree was obtained at Illinois State University where she majored in public relations and minored in psychology. While enrolled, she completed an internship involving several different mental health care facilities in Peoria, Illinois. These organizations included: group homes, crisis nurseries, and rehabilitation facilities. She is also part of The White Sox Volunteer Corp, and a Woman on Call Volunteer. She loves to spend time with family and friends. She loves to cook, camp, horseback ride, teach and travel. Her favorite place, next to a White Sox Baseball game, is the beach!
