Ms. McDonald

Science

Ms. McDonald received her Degree from Saint Xavier University in 1984. She chose the teaching profession because it is an exciting challenge and an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Throughout her life she has enjoyed working with young people in a variety of capacities: as a teacher aide, a substitute teacher, scout leader, a library board member, tutoring, and coaching volleyball and basketball.  Her goal is to interest her students by showing them that what they learn inside the classroom actually does matter to them personally outside the classroom.

In her spare time, Ms McDonald enjoys gardening, coaching local youth volleyball and basketball teams, volunteering at the Field Museum and spending time with family and friends.
