Mr. Anderson received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the University of North Texas in 1969. After serving two years in the U.S. Army, he attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and completed his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry. His love of teaching began when he was a teaching assistant at U.W., and he helped establish a tutoring program for at-risk students in chemistry classes at the university.
He loves teaching science but the real joy of teaching is seeing students develop critical thinking skills and the confidence that they can succeed in their goals.
In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities like camping and fishing, coaching youth sports teams, and watching UW football and basketball.
